If price is your goal, get it. Also, all the cords and antennae involved is messy and cumbersome to move around. If looks and sound quality are more important--spend more money. For the price--this is a great value and works great. I wish I'd spent more and got better sound quality though.
With this system I'll keep it till hell freezes over (or until XM prices themselves out of the market). I had thoughts about dumping XM because the only time I could enjoy the tunes was in my truck. Shut and locked the window.done deal.
Docking and undocking is fast and simple. Due to our living room facing east I had to run the (long) antenna cable out the window and place it on the deck railing in a discreet area. Speakers produce excellent sound.
This took all of two minutes and was a piece of cake. I would not have paid the original price of around a hundred bucks but for 27 Geogie boys it's well worth it. I was impressed enough with this little guy that I ordered a second one for my work shop.
The first one is in the living room.
But I love my sattelite. This radio is just what I needed for my RoadyXT in the office. I do wish it had AM/FM or CD player also so I can have all my options at once.
And at the price I paid It was a Excellent Value. For Being So small this unit real has some great sound.
Excellent device. Its got a superb sound quality if you live in a Apartment.I wish it has remote and power button, Overall im happy with the purchase.
